Webinar recording: Industry placements for students with special educational needs or disabilities
(25th November 2020)
Many employers are already offering industry placements, including to students who have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). How can you best support these students to succeed in the workplace?
An industry placement is an extended period of structured time that a student spends in your workplace, developing real skills and making a meaningful contribution to your organisation.
In this 1-hour webinar, we gave you an overview of what industry placements are, including students with special educational needs or disabilities, at each state of the placement, and the government support now available to help.
The webinar recording and slides can be found below, along with a link to the evaluation survey. FAQ from the session can be found here
Once you have watched the video, please provide feedback so we can improve our service.
